The first letter is the story of Pakistan. It is the proud declaration of a newly born state that minted her independence out of a quest for sovereignty. And in her sovereign state, she passed her most valuable asset – her name – to her fleet of domestic and international ambassadors, who were directed to showcase the spirit of a new nation, its drive and ambition, its prowess to turn the odds in its favour.
My kitchen is bare bones. A cast-iron pan, a few MSR pots, a coffee press, a handful of metal sporks, and a double-burner stove have worked, without fail, for three years running. Wanting to reduce waste, I connected my stove to a 20-pound propane tank instead of burning dozens of the green canisters. I ratcheted the propane tank down in the truck bed, along with the portable fridge and water jug. It didn’t take long to learn that this would limit my sleeping space dramatically. Seeing as I spend a third of every day sleeping, my bed needed to take precedent, forcing me to find a new place for my utilities.
The truck is a talisman. The source of livelihood must be honoured for barkat or prosperity. Clues to superstition are all over the decorated truck: the eyes that ward off the evil eye: the manat cloths or religious pledges that hang from the truck body, a child’s shoe hidden in the radiator; poetry that suggests that the owner owes his prosperity only to God or his mother’s prayers.
2013: The 2013 model year was the last of the BMW-owned, Italian-built, old-school Husqvarna CR125s. The coolest thing that Husqvarna did in 2013 was to include a complete 144cc top-end kit with each CR125 sold. The 2013 CR125 had a narrow, high-rpm powerband that only a highly skilled sugar freak could keep in the sweet spot. Ridden flat out, it was a fun bike to ride, but ridden half-heartedly, it was frustrating. It was, however, a much better bike with the 144cc top-end installed. Back in 2013, a Husqvarna CR125 cost $6299.
And by the way, use a wide drywall knife to do the point up; those puny six-inch knives make a mess. Proper sanding technique is another prerequisite skill and the trick is not to raise a knap in the nearby paper. Some put the paint prime coat on, then resand the drywall. It’s not easy but you’ll learn.
You will find a Facom Protwist Screwdriver Set everywhere from an auto body shop to a hobbyist’s garage to the service center of a professional racecar driving team. These are commercial-grade tools that are built to withstand the rigors of serious and frequent use. Yes, the set costs more than most, but you’ll never need to replace it, so you’ll actually save money in the long run.
We will remember 2017 as the year OOH started going digital in Pakistan and digital, once introduced, expands rapidly. In the UK, digital inventories increased from 6,181 to 17,356 (almost 300% increase) in two years between 2014 and 2016 and is expected to cross 50,000 units in 2021 (source: Outsmart / Kinetic).
If you’re repairing old things, you’re bound to run into rusted screws. As long as you keep the right tools and supplies on hand and don’t lose your cool, you can undo even the most stubborn fasteners. The key is to think of rust as just another form of glue: You first have to break the bond formed by the rust before adding lubricant to ease out the metal screws. Bearing this in mind, professionals often turn to these three incremental techniques for how to remove rusted screws.
“This neighborhood is a hot mess, and it starts off with that office,” said Kelly Belton, who has lived in North Pointe for six years and works full time cleaning hotel rooms. “We can’t even get work done in our apartments.”
Age. While the KTM 350SXF has been around since 2011, the Husqvarna FC350 didn’t make its appearance in America until 2015. Since in the first couple years the KTM 350SXF suffered power and electrical problems, Husky didn’t miss much. Plus, KTM’s CEO Stefan Pierer didn’t buy Husqvarna from BMW until late 2013, so the 2014 Husqvarnas were the first to use platform-sharing with KTM.
A larger handle that has a slight amount of give or cushion to it gives you far more control. When you are loosening a screw that is too tight, you want to transfer as much power as you can into it right up front, else the tool bit slips and strips. Think about how an impact driver works…. A screw driver that you can get a good, non-slip grip on is what you need…. That’s why the craftsman PROFESSIONAL line, which you probably can’t afford has softer, larger diameter handles. This is more fodder for those poor unknowing souls who shop at sparkfun and ada fruit and think they are getting a good deal….
+1. I agree although growing up I was always told that those types of screws were called “common screws” instead of flat head. Only ones with an actual flat head were called flat head screws, didn’t matter what bit they used.
