I don’t know for others countries but here in Canada we have been using it for decades. The Robertson head is the standard construction screw except for gypse panel where the Phillips seem to be the standard.

The U.S. reached a record high of 7.4m abandoned homes in 2012. When people leave homes, the local commercial economy falters, resulting in commercial abandonment as well. The social, environmental and economic consequences disproportionately affect already struggling communities. Abandoned buildings contribute to lower property values and are associated with higher rates of crime and unemployment. Due to the scale of the problem, local governments in the U.S. are often unable to allocate enough resources to remove blighted structures.

NOW THAT WE KNOW THE DIFFERENT PARTS, WHAT ABOUT THE DIFFERENT BUYERS? When a buyer is deciding between a KTM and a Husky, there is a strange little dance going on at the showroom. We don’t believe that any potential 2018 Husqvarna FC350 buyer doesn’t know that it is based on the 2018 KTM 450SXF. Which begs the question, “Why would knowledgeable buyers go for a Husqvarna instead of a KTM?” There are several possible reasons: (1) Lots of riders hold a grudge against KTM for the bikes they built in the past. Consumers got used to KTMs being the butt of jokes for decades, and now they can’t put that out of their minds, so it’s safer for their psyche to buy a Husqvarna. (2) Not everyone likes orange. White is a safe color choice. (3) There is always a splinter group that wants to be different. They want to wear offbeat gear, own funky Euro helmets, run curlicue numbers and ride a bike that not everyone has (but aren’t brave enough to buy a Gas Gas, Sherco, TM or SWM). (4) They are loyal Husqvarna guys, which means that they must be at least 50 years old, because no one was loyal to the Italian-, Malaysian- or German-owned Huskys. (5) And finally, they like the look of the Husky, have a really good dealer and think it is a safe purchase based on KTM’s credibility.

U.S. companies stopped manufacturing these types of asbestos products in the 1980s, but they are still popular building materials in developing nations such as India and China.

“We looked into other ways to break the skin impedance, and some of the things we saw used chemicals or abrasion, like a sandpaper material,” team member Billy Jeon says.

For anyone who works with metal frequently, they will attest to the utility of a good metal file. They are unrivaled for shaving, rounding off or generally filing down anything metal in nature.

This, perhaps, is due to the fact that although they worked in different departments, be it production, creative or client services while at MNJ, they were exposed to each other’s functions and did not work in silos, as is wont to happen today.

Most plastic beverage kegs in the UK are not recycled and often end up in landfill. To overcome this problem, First Mile have teamed up with KeyKeg and OneCircle to create a circular programme which recycles plastic kegs, turning them into new, useable plastic kegs. 

The torque-absorbing nibs are positioned at the outer perimeter of the screw head. They are higher on the advancing edge for better torque absorption. (A reverse taper is available with a high edge on the back side to resist reverse rotation and lock the fastener in place.) In addition to absorbing torque, the Ger-Nib scrapes through paint or plating to provide a secondary ground. Screws with this unique feature can accommodate a wide range of metal thicknesses.
