Aluminum extrusion doesn’t produce truly rigid structures even with the name brand metal brackets; there’s just too much slop in the tolerances. For many things this isn’t an issue but if rigidity is what you’re after, and you have to use T-track extrusion, use epoxy or weld it. There’s some MIG wire that can lay a serviceable weld in aluminum if you don’t have access to TIG.
