- Spanner screwdrivers are used with electronics, stall doors for restrooms, and elevators. These also tend to be used as accessories for power drills.
Well the sales fellow shook his head and said, “Sorry no, can’t replace it — it’s been modified.” Then with a sparkle in his eye walked over to a vice mounted on a bench, clamped it down and reefed on it. He held up the broken screwdriver, smiled and said, “Now I can replace it.”
It’s entirely bullshit, from what I can tell. He was sacked at the same time as a whole bunch of the Inquirer’s writing staff, most likely for cost-cutting reasons rather than anything else.
The social and experiential relationship has grown over the years in a number of ways. The first was simple captive integration. The idea is to create an activity that allows people to connect to their social media accounts and post stuff (ideally branded) about the activity and their part in it.
Innomed says it is committed to a quality management system that endeavors “to consistently meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements and expectations” and “to focus on exceptional customer service, quality products, and continuous improvement.”
In fact, clients expected their market research companies to have ‘marketing’ sense and this created the need for a new a mindset, whereby numbers were interpreted to generate insights. As technology gathered pace and new tools were introduced, clients wanted their research companies to be their partners rather than data providers. They were demanding insights with a clear direction on how to meet their business challenges.
Interesting. I just print pilot holes and drive metal screws into the plastic. They make their own threads, far more accurately than I could ever print them. I normally use thread-rolling screws for plastic – they look a lot like wood screws except they don’t have a sharp point. A printed 3.2 mm hole works great for #6 hardware. 32 tpi threads are pretty fine and will easily strip out if you over tighten the screw. The thread-rolling screws hold tight and are pretty hard to strip. see: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=plastic+thread+rolling+screw&t=peppermint&iax=images&ia=images
Excuse me what!? I haven’t seen a standard (flat head) wood screw in quite a while except when I take apart walls. there almost all Robinson(square) or Phillips(cross).
HAVE YOU BEEN KEEPING A SCORECARD, BECAUSE WE HAVEN’T. HOWEVER, WE WILL GET RIGHT ON THAT. Here is a quick synopsis, with a few added factors yet to be discussed. KTM wins the power, brake and clutch category, while Husqvarna takes the handling and wheel crowns. Every other category is a tie, as you would expect from bikes that are identical. But, perhaps there are tiebreakers yet to be discussed. Here are a few added features.
Now that all this history is out of the way, we can make a few determinations. If the Philips screw cams out when too much torque is applied, we need a Phillips screw driver with a precisely ground head and sharp geometry to bite into the metal. Another example determination we can make is that not all plus shaped screws are Philips screws. They do have pretty easy markings though, for example, most of the stripped out screws on an unfortunate piece of test equipment I tried to take apart had a little X intersecting the head pattern. This X indicated that the screws were in fact Posidriv screws, and no amount of cursing would make them properly compatible with a #2 Philips. Flat head screws are to be used for decoration. Hex headed machine screws are to be used with a ball headed driver when torque is low and flat headed driver when torque is high. I won’t go on and on, but I guess I’m making a case for doing research on the fastener. It tells you a lot.
Airbox. Both the KTM and the Husqvarna have incredibly intelligent airbox designs—the air-filter cage plugs into the airbox with no mess. Neither the Husky nor KTM require tools to get to the air filter, but they both require fairly healthy tugs to get the airbox covers off.
