This graph illustrates the problem of uneven clamp load by showing the pressure distribution across two cylinders (2.25 inches in diameter and 2 inches long) clamped by a ½ inch-13 screw and nut. Even at this thickness, the peak pressure is still 40 percent greater than would be predicted by dividing the bolt tension by the contact area at the joint faces. To sum up, brand teams need to make a serious call regarding where they draw the line on compensation. They need to ask how important quality creative is. They also need to dwell upon what quality creative actually is, and how it impacts their brand. To be fair to the CMOs, yes there are agencies which produce poor work and are incapable of doing anything better. To be honest, they are not structured to deliver insightful and relevant work. I know this because I have worked for some of them.
Here’s a tip for unloading a flatbed truck or a flat trailer. Before loading, lay a tarp over the whole thing, with one edge of the tarp tied to the rear bumper of the trailer, and then lay the excess tarp over the front edge of the trailer. Load your stuff on top of the tarp, fold the excess tarp (located at the front edge) over the load for travel. When you get to the spot where you want to unload, take a rope and tie it to the top of the tarp, and anchor the other end of the rope to something (maybe a tree of a stake you pound into the ground?). Then slowly drive away.
(2) Weird sizes. Believe it or not, if you don’t own a #10 Torx bit, you can’t replace the clutch-side grip on any late-model KTM or Husky. The ODI clamp-on grips are held on by a teeny-tiny Torx bolt and nothing else will work. Additionally, the air-bleed screw on the damping leg of a WP AER fork uses a #20 Torx bolt, as does the right-side panel of the 2016–2017 Husqvarna.
Meanwhile, residents say there is a regular drumbeat of gunfire, sowing fear and resentment among the community.
What the article didn’t see fit to mention is that the combination of wooden NVIDIA card and NVIDIA Linux driver still outperform the equivalent production ATI card and ATI Linux driver.
Over 90-percent of all fasteners are made of carbon steel. There’s a good reason for that – it’s affordable, and can be tailored to maximize a wide range of attributes through simple alloy changes. The adjustment of carbon content, and factors like heat treating can make the fastener more durable. The addition of manganese, silicon, copper, molybdenum, nickel, or chromium in small amounts will alter the capabilities of the fastener, and can improve its capacity to be heat treated. This opens the door to a wide range of strength-to-ductility combinations. ARP also offers more exotic materials (like titanium) for more exotic applications where weight is a factor (and budget is not). They also offer incredibly high strength materials that are capable of over 300,000 psi of tensile strength.
In Pakistan, this change in paradigm found concrete expression in the emergence of the affiliated agency and the entry of the media buying houses. Formerly, clients appointed a single agency to handle their entire brand portfolio. Now, the portfolios were split among agencies and the brand became the sole client.
This shift in consumer shopping preferences, from a ‘product-price focus’ to an ‘assortment-experience’ focus, did not go unnoticed by local grocery retailers, such as Naheed and Imtiaz supermarkets, which underwent a 360-degree remodelling and transformation after 2008, by adopting a multi-level department store format.
It costs about $1,000 (could be less or more based on installation size) to pop off existing panels to let a roofer do their thing, and then put them back on. And while it might be advisable to wait to install solar if you plan to replace your roof in the next few years, it might be more advisable to replace your roof sooner, and go solar before the federal solar tax credit expires.
From BLACK & DECKER, detects wood studs up to 3/4″ thick. For ease of use, sensor lights and beeps when stud is detected.
That sealant might hold for 25 or 30 years up there, or at least as long as it needs to before the roof is re-shingled in a decade, but it’s ugly, and it probably voids the roofers’ warranty. You don’t want your home’s watertight integrity to be beholden to that crappy craftsmanship (crapsmanship?), do ya?
