Here’s a tip for unloading a flatbed truck or a flat trailer. Before loading, lay a tarp over the whole thing, with one edge of the tarp tied to the rear bumper of the trailer, and then lay the excess tarp over the front edge of the trailer. Load your stuff on top of the tarp, fold the excess tarp (located at the front edge) over the load for travel. That sealant might hold for 25 or 30 years up there, or at least as long as it needs to before the roof is re-shingled in a decade, but it’s ugly, and it probably voids the roofers’ warranty. You don’t want your home’s watertight integrity to be beholden to that crappy craftsmanship (crapsmanship?), do ya?
